Dr. Judith Bartlett, MD, MSc, CCFP, FCFP

Judith Bartlett is a physician, researcher and health administrator with 18 years of experience in Aboriginal health. She is currently an Associate Professor and Co-Director of the Centre for Aboriginal Health Research in the Department of Community Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Manitoba. She is also the Director of the Health and Wellness Department at the Manitoba Metis Federation and a family physician with the Aboriginal Health and Wellness Centre of Winnipeg.

Bartlett was honored with the National Aboriginal Achievement Award for Health in 2003. She has worked for many years in First Nations health and now focuses her research in the Metis community with an active research program in Manitoba and internationally. Her areas of expertise include: Aboriginal issues, administration and governance, affiliation with credible research bodies and clinical practice.
