Network Action Teams
During the first phase of development, CanFASD undertook a consultation process to develop a strategy for the networking of research involving Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) across Canada Northwest. Based on these results, five Network Action Teams formed to conduct research in the areas of diagnostics, intervention and prevention.
The members of each team are collectively responsible for answering specific research questions, either through a review of existing data or by developing new research projects. Each team will evaluate the data collected within the contexts of cultural diversity, gender, community, geography, and pertinence to policy change.
