Brief Description: In January 2003, Manitoba began the collection of information on alcohol use during pregnancy. Public Health nurses ask ALL Manitoba women that deliver a baby in hospital about their use of alcohol during pregnancy. Information includes frequency and amount by trimester, as well as frequency of binge drinking and usual amount by trimester. These questions are part of a larger postnatal screen.
Population Served: All Manitoba women that deliver a baby in hospital.
