Brief Description: PEERS and FASD Community Circle will pilot a Mother-Child Foster Home Mentoring Model for sex trade workers (or ex-sex trade workers) who have FASD and are making the transition with their babies/children to a mainstream lifestyle. The project will provide staffed housing, safety, parenting mentors and help the mother develop positive contacts with her environment, using resources in that environment and making appropriate referrals to them, and creating sustainable integrated community support networks in the natural setting.
