FASD Supported Housing Mentoring Pilot

Brief Description: The FASD Supported Housing Mentoring project is funded by the Government of Canada’s National Homelessness Initiative, Cognitive Disabilities Strategy and First Baptist Church. Mentors provide daily living supports to adults with a FASD living in Regina. This includes assistance with such things as decision making, organizational skills, money management, shopping, positive leisure skills, communication, and social interactions.

Time Frame: Currently funded until March 2007, proposed funding on an on-going basis, currently negotiating with funders

Kind of Project: Demonstration, with a strong evaluation component
