Brief Description: The FASD YJPP project is a collaboration among Manitoba Justice, Interagency FASD Program, Clinic for Alcohol and Drug Exposed Children, Manitoba Health, and Youth Forensic Services (Manitoba Adolescent Treatment Center).
The goal of the YJPP is to ensure that youth affected with FASD and who are in conflict wit the law will receive appropriate judicial dispositions, including a multidisciplinary assessment, diagnosis, and improved access to services. The project also assists in identifying and developing family oriented and community based resources. The project currently serves Winnipeg area and is expanding to the Pas, Manitoba in January 2007.
