Neurodevelopmental Profiles Use in the Diagnosis of Children with FASD

Brief Description: Karen is one of the diagnosticians at CADEC. She is conducting a pilot project to examine the neurodevelopmental profile of school age children who do not have the physical features of the FAS phenotype. The assessment instruments and procedures include: the core NEPSY and a number of supplemental subtests in visual, memory, attention, sensory-motor domains; the ABAS-2 rated by primary caregivers to measure adaptive skills; and standard child interviews. She is finding a characteristic pattern for many of the children.
